Many of us are from the coastal area and don’t get the opportunity to experience the change of seasons in such grandeur, unless of course we are fortunate enough to have a vacation home in the mountains. We have a little saying, “When your glasses get the least bit fogged up from the humidity, it’s time to head to the mountains!”
Heartwood sits at 3400 feet elevations with summertime temperatures averaging a comfortable 70 during the days and cooling off at night. Fall, with its spectacular foliage, makes the long range views from the mountaintop a “must see”.
Wintertime in the high country gives yet another perspective and appreciation of mother nature. Spring is always a welcomed site.
